ORIGINAL ART & CHARACTER DESIGN
Poseidon

Poseidon: god of the ocean and of earthquakes. He created horses and is most well known for wielding his trident. The brother of Zeus and Hades. 1280pX1280p Sketched traditionally, digital ink and color. June 2018

D&D Character Lineup

I recently started playing D&D with my friends and I decided to design everyone's characters. Mine is the female. I had a lot of fun and I plan on doing individual illustrations for each character in the near future. Sketched traditionally, digital ink and color. 18"X12" July 2018

Meditation Design

This is the design by itself. It has not yet been approved to appear on the website but I really liked how it came out and how it looked on the model. Sketched traditionally, digital ink and color. May 2018

Meditation Design Tank Top Sample

The owner of a website called Meditation Magazine not only publishes articles on the art of meditation, but also sells merchandise. The owner commissioned me to come up with some fresh, new, and creative shirt designs for his website. This is a figure meditating with the different chacras highlighted on the body. Sketched traditionally, digital ink and color. May 2018

Hera

Hera: queen of the gods and goddess of women and marriage. She is the wife of Zeus who is the king of the gods. Her sacred animal is the peacock and her sacred flower is a lily. Common symbols associated with her are a crown, a lotus, and a peacock feather. 1280pX1280p Sketched traditionally, digital ink and color. April 2018

Lotus Tank Top Design

This is the tank top design by itself and I have included a link to see the shirt up on the website. 6000pX6000p Sketched traditionally, digital ink and color. April 2018

Lotus Tank Top Sample

The owner of a website called Meditation Magazine not only publishes articles on the art of meditation, but also sells merchandise. The owner commissioned me to come up with some fresh, new, and creative shirt designs for his website. This is a lotus and it utilizes the magazine's signature hashtag. Sketched traditionally, digital ink and color. April 2018

Hermes

Hermes: god of thieves and travelers. Escort of the underworld who whisks your spirit away to Hades when you die. His sacred animal is the tortoise, his sacred flower is the crocus, and his symbols are winged sandals and the staff. 1280pX1280p Sketched traditionally, digital ink and color. April 2018

Aphrodite

Aphrodite: goddess of beauty, love, and femininity. Her sacred animal is the dove and her sacred flower is the rose. Common symbols associated with the goddess are a shell and pearl since she emerged from the sea, a golden apple, and a mirror or reflective surface. 1280pX1280p Sketched traditionally, digital ink and color. April 2018

Hephaistos

Hephaistos: god of the forge and blacksmith of the gods. His sacred animal is the donkey and the symbols that are most commonly associated with him are a hammer, blacksmith tongs, an anvil, and fire. 1280pX1280p Sketched traditionally, digital ink and color. April 2018

Demeter

Demeter: goddess of the harvest, the changing of the seasons, rebirth, and of women. Her sacred animal is the swine, her sacred flower is the poppy, and some symbols that are often associated with her are wheat, the changing of the seasons, and a sycle. 1280pX1280p Sketched traditionally, digital ink and color. April 2018

Apollo

Apollo: God of the sun, prophecy, and music. His sacred animal is the wolf and like his twin sister, Artemis, he is also known for hunting hence the arrow that mirrors the one I included in the Artemis piece. He is most famous for carrying a lyre and his sacred flower is the purple hyacinth. 1280pX1280p Sketched traditionally, digital ink and color. April 2018

Artemis

Artemis is the goddess of the hunt and of the night and she is my personal favorite of all of the Greek gods. Her sacred animal is a doe, one of her sacred plants is asphodel, and to symbolize her being the goddess of the hunt I included an arrow and antlers. The moon and night sky are to symbolize her also being the goddess of the night. 1280pX1280p Sketched traditionally, digital ink and color. March 2018

Ares

Ares, the god of war. I wanted this sticker to sort of mirror Athena's sticker because they both have to do with war in some way. Where Athena is more for battle strategy, Ares is more of the god of the bloodshed of war. One of his sacred animals is the dog, and some of his most common symbols are flaming torches, a helmet, and spears. 1280pX1280p Sketched traditionally, digital ink and color. March 2018

Athena

Another part of the Greek Mythology stickers I am working on. This is for the goddess Athena, she is the goddess of wisdom, battle, and architecture. Her sacred animal is an owl, she is known for having invented the chariot in a Greek myth and gifting it to the people of Athens, and is often depicted holding a spear. The olive branch is also another one of her sacred items. 1280pX1280p Sketched traditionally, digital ink and color. March 2018

Dionysus

This is another piece that is part of a series of Greek mythology stickers that I'm working on. This is Dionysus, his sacred animal is a cheetah, his plant is the bindweed, and he famously carries a thyrsus (the pine cone staff). He is the god of wine so there is a grape vine and bubbles in the wine color in the background. 1280pX1280p Sketched traditionally, digital ink and color. March 2018

Forbidden Fruit Logo Series

This assignment was to create three labels for a made up alcohol company. I don't drink but I like Greek mythology so I decided to incorporate that into the design. This is based off of the myth of Persephone and the three labels reflect how the story progresses. Persephone is kidnapped and taken to the underworld, the earth is plunged into winter, she returns and spring begins again. 10.5"X4.5" (3.5"X4.5") Sketched traditionally, inked and colored digitally. March 2018

Moment of Impact

This is a self portrait and it is in reference to an event that happened to me two years ago. I was struck by a car while walking on campus and left me with a small scar on my face on the side where the broken glass is. I am stronger and better now but when I was in the hospital it felt like my world had shattered. The glass is a metaphor for how I felt at the time and for the windshield of the car when I was hit. 7"X5" Sketched traditionally, inked and colored digitally. March 2018

Pan

I really love Greek mythology so I've started a series of illustrations that will become stickers or badges that are centered around the Greek Gods and their sacred animals. This is for the god Pan. It features a ram head, because he is half goat, a pan flute, and in the back is a mouth with branches coming out of it because if a mortal heard him scream while in the woods, they would go insane and be lost forever. 1280pX1280p Sketched traditionally, digital ink and color. March 2018

Mardi Gras Google Doodle

This assignment was to make an original Google Doodle for one of the many holidays that take place in the month of February. I chose Mardi Gras and traditionally, women who flash their breasts are rewarded with beads. I really enjoyed making this into a gif and it was a really fun project to do. 13.889” x 5.556” Sketched traditionally, inked, colored, and animated in Photoshop. February 2018

ITSupport4Me

I just helped my dad remake his old business card for his side business of being an IT consultant. We were both really happy with how it came out. I would totally be open to designing some more custom business cards for anyone that is in need of some so if you would be interested in commissioning me for that, feel free to message me. 2"x3.5" Created digitally. August 2017

The Magician

The theme for July was tarot cards and I chose to illustrate the magician. I am most comfortable with drawing women so I decided to go outside of my comfort zone this month and draw a man. I'm pretty happy with how it came out. 8.5"x11" Sketched traditionally then scanned for digital inking and coloring. July 2017

Egyptian Goddess Nephthys

The June prompt for the character design challenge was to draw an Egyptian God. This is Nephthys, the goddess of mourning and rivers and she has come to escort you to the after life. 8.5"x11" Sketched traditionally then scanned for digital inking and coloring. June 2017

Indian Dancer

Another prompt for the character design challenge which was to draw an Indian dancer. 8.5"x11" Sketched traditionally then scanned for digital inking and coloring. May 2017

Maori Warrior

This is another prompt from the character design challenge page on facebook. I did not submit this one because it was February's prompt and I only thought of the character for it after it was done but I still wanted to do it for fun. The prompt was Maori warrior so I drew this Maori warrior woman. 8.5"x11" Sketched and inked traditionally then scanned for digital editing and coloring. April 2017

Carnival of Venice

On facebook there is a group I'm apart of called the character design challenge and every month we are given a prompt to create a character around. In March the themes was the carnival of Venice so I created this woman. I started out with this pose and it made me want to make something really billowy and beautiful. 8.5"x11" Sketched and inked traditionally then scanned for digital editing and coloring. April 2017

Meet the Artist

I wanted to better connect to my followers on social media so I created one of these illustrations that I saw a lot of other artists coming out with Traditionally sketched and inked then scanned for digital coloring.

Witchsona

I noticed a lot of artists doing a persona of themselves as a witch so I decided to do one as well. I really love to knit so my magic wand is a knitting needle and my broom is made of yarn. This was just something I did for fun. 2017 8.5"x11" Sketched traditionally then scanned for digital editing and coloring.

THE CAPED CROCHETER

In my character design class we were given a personality trait, an age, a gender, and a classification of either hero or villain. I was given a woman in her 70s, frugal, and hero. Thus The Caped Crocheter was born. Her secret identity is Pearl because pearling is a stitch in knitting. 2016 8.5"x11" Sketched traditionally then scanned for digital inking and coloring.

ME AND SHELLBY

In my character design class, the assignment was to create a dynamic duo. I was really inspired by characters like Finn and Jake from Adventure Time and Calvin and Hobbes so I made my dynamic duo be me and my teddy bear Shellby. She can shrink and grow in size and she will go and beat up my ex boyfriends for me. 2016 8.5"x11" Sketched traditionally then scanned for digital inking and coloring.

CHARACTER DESIGN: KNIFE PARTY
Fire Hive

This piece is a redo of one that I did in my freshman year of college. The original can be found in the 2D art section of my portfolio. I really wanted to try and challenge myself with this piece by using very little black and white and only using colors for the extreme highlights and shadows. I also wanted to really tell a story in one illustration. 11"x6" Sketched traditionally then scanned for digital inking and coloring. July 2017

Red Dawn Turn Around

I haven't worked on my redos from this project in a while but it was really awesome to get another one done. Hopefully I will get around to doing more of them this summer. Here is Red Dawn's redo. I love drawing bulky women. 11"x8.5" Sketched traditionally then scanned for digital inking and coloring. June 2017

Fire Hive Turn Around

In a matter of just one month my style and sense of proportion improved greatly so I have decided to redo my entire character design final. I am doing this because I still plan on using these characters except this time they will look much better. 11"x8.5" Sketched traditionally then scanned for digital inking and coloring. March 2017

Fire Hive

Each of these characters were inspired by, and named after, songs by Knife Party. These characters are in a team together to fight against the robots that have taken over the earth in this post apocalyptic future. The robots take humans and give them painful enhancements that give them super human abilities. Each character's back story and personality traits are included in their individual character descriptions. 11"x8.5" Sketched traditionally then scanned for digital inking and coloring.
